accessing data on courrepted windos installatio

Hi hall
XP home got corrupted and I had to install fresh copy of windows (XP professional).
I am able to access all of the user data (My document etc) of corrupted windows except one account. When I try to access, it says access denied. This account has huge collection of valuable data. Any thing you all can say? And all PST’s of those user accounts also can’t be seen.
