Accessing Crystal Report 9 from VB

Hi guys,
most of the recent applications that I maintain use Crystal Reports 8.5 and I found out that accessing Crystal Reports through VB doesn't work the same way(Crystal Report control doesn't do the job with 9)
What would you use in this case?
