Accessing Credentials via a VB Applet

We are in the process of creating a VB Applet to enable Crystal Reports to be run from the Ellipse Explorer.
In doing this we want to use the Ellipse Logon ID, the District Code and the Position Profile information to provide Security of Access to various Reports

Is it possible to access this information from the "View/Credentials" Form available from the Ellipse Explorer Menu?

I would appreciate any help you can provide.

We are running Ellipse 5.2.3
