Hello,

I need to store all the values of a view's column in an array variable so I can perform certain operation with an agent. Is there's a way to do that in LS ?

If I'm totally unclear, just tell me I'll provide further explanations

thx in advance

Hi saecsens.
Are you familiar with the NotesViewEntryCollection and NotesViewNavigator classes? I'm not aware of an especially quick way of getting all the values into an array. I would probably declare a dynamic array and use something like ForAll to go through all the NotesViewEntry.ColumnValues. This should be reasonably quick unless your view is huge, in which case make sure you definitely use the column values and not access the documents themselves.
Hope this helps!
Cheers, GingerJames

I found this suggestion in a another forum:

Create a NotesViewNavigator from the view
Get the last entry in the navigator
extract the data

I think the assumption was that the column as a Totaled column.

HTH

peace.
