Has anyone out there ever used Colibri.OLEDB for Btrieve to access data in a Btrieve 6.15 database.

If not, are there any other RELIABLE methods to achieve this? Mise Le Meas,

There are several 3rd party OleDB drivers for Btrieve and Pervaisve, but remember you are developing on an unsupported database that was never intended to run with nor tested with OleDB. If you want to use OleDB it might be a good idea to get the latest version of Btrieve, Pervasive.SQL 2000i. The SDK has OleDB from Pervasive and the engine fully supports all older Btrieve applications and data natively becuase it has a full Btrieve 7.90 engine in it, in addition to the full ODBC complaint SQL engine. You can then use the Pervasive OleDB or 3rd party OleDB knowing that you have a fully supported database underneath and if there are any issues they can be addressed. You can download trial copies from the Pervasive Web site at and they will give you evaluation support to get it running if you call or e-mail Support and tell them you have an eval.
