I have recently had to change firewall vendors for a client that has an IP Office phone system. Before I was able to access it from anywhere using the Manager software, now when I use my credentials to get in, I get a network error. Is this an issue with a missing port forwarding or something completely different?

Have you changed the gateway IP too? Make sure you have a default route in IPO to your firewall.

I sure as heck hope you changed ALL of the other credentials on the system. Opening up the IPO to the outside is a bad idea.

Why would you open for example TAPI ?
So anyone in the world can control the customers phones?

If you gonna do this only open required encrypted ports for Manager, Monitor and System Status, and only allow traffic from your office, not "any".
