Hi all;
A used Baystack 303 decided to come my way. While it seems to work fine as a general switch, I'm not sure how to access the management features (via telnet/web).
According to the docs, it defaults to 127.0.0.2 as an IP, but either that's not working right, or it's not reset.

I know the password if I could get in, but without knowing what IP it has, I can't get that far. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do? I thought the Optivity software might help, but it only works on the 350 series or better. So, I guess i need (a) an idea how to do a total reset, or (b) an idea on how to find out the IP (there is a MAC sticker on it, for what that's worth).

Thanks!

use the serial console port to configure a switch if you dont know the IP.

You'll need to download the private edition of hyperterminal. Get a serial cable and go to town
