Hi everybody,

I'm trying to access an AIX System via standard command line rsh command from an NT Machine.

The configuration on the AIX machine should be ok. I've enabled an AIX System for remote access and tried the access and this worked perfectly well.

But when I enable the the NT machine I always get a "connection refused".

I believe now there's got to be something wrong on the NT Machine but I have no idea what...

Is there anyone who can help me with that ?

Thanks in advance !

Regards
Thomas

Banyan,

I have the same problem, though it is from NT -> Solaris, but guess similar.

I heard that NT machines must have a static IP address, instead of using DHCP. Tried on one machine, but failed.

If you get more info, please share if you don't mind.

thanks in advance.
