Accessibility of Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. files for people with disabilities is now a big thing in Germany.

Does anyone out there know of information, books, web sites, etc. about how to create Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations so that they can be correctly read by a screen reader??

A list of rules is what I am after.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

I don't know of any particular documentation, but Windows XP will read Word documetns without need for any other software. I presume XP will also read Notepad and WordPad too, but it definitely reads Word (only in a US accent though!).
