I have been testing an Access97 Run-time database on Windows 2000 Professional Edition (W2K Service Pack 2 applied) with network installed Office 2000. When I attempt to print preview a report I get the following Error:

The instruction at "0x6902b47c" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the programme
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

This happens every time. The run time database is fully error trapped within its visual basic code but never gets as far as its own error trapping before being terminated.

The database has been used with no errors on Windows98, WindowsME, and Windows2000 Professional Edition with Locally installed Office2000.

I know that similar threads exist on this type of error at other places in the TekTips Forum, but I want to specifically ask Access Run-time developers about their experience of this message and the program termination problem.

I have seen that the problem is described as solved in Windows2000 Service Pack 1 (Q262490) but I am testing on an SP2 machine that should therefore include all the SP1 fixes.

Has anyone else experienced this from report print preview in Access Runtime Applications ? Does anyone have any suggestions ? With many thanks jobo123
