Hello, I have an ASP 3.0 application using an Access97 database.
My problem is a user may create a request which saves ClosedDate to an access data field. In some instances the request may be re-opened and thus the ClosedDate must be blank (null etc.). It seems Access 97\Jet will not allow me to save a blank date field.
I thought about converting it to a text field but then I may give up a lot of reporting functionality based on the field as a true date field.
How can you recommened getting around this?
Thanks,
Michael
