In Access XP when you go to file and export to export an access table a text file window should come up allowing the user to save the file as

-Save as type: text files (*.txt, *.csv, *.tab, *.asc)

However, this option does not appear. How do you add this option as a type of file to save?

You may not have selected the Show hidden files and folders option in Microsoft Windows Explorer. What version of Windows do you have?

The user is on Windows 2000. I added all text extension options in the folder options through Explorer and it worked. I was drawing a blank and trying to fix it through the application. Your suggestion worked.
Thanks!
