Access XP - Database Template

I have several databases that I would like to use out of the templates folders similarly to what you can do in Word and Excel.

I want to open an empty / formatted database when the user clicks on File, New - General Templates and immediately force the user to name it with a unique name.

Does anyone know what the file extention would be?
