I have designed a booking and quotation system for our independent travel business ( using Acess 2000. I stored on the d/b customer info such as name/address, depart dates, airport, passenger names, options chosen etc. I would like to be able to e-mail our customers such things as a confirmation letter with an option for them to be able to change any incorrrect or missing data. I Have the following questions:
1) Can I use Word 2000 with a form ?
2) If so, how do I get the data from the d/b into the letter?
3)I don't know if mailmerge is the right approach - it's not really a question of mass mailing, just selecting a customer then sending them the info?
4)Would I be able to kick it all off from the Access system?

From Access use VBA to send an automated email.
Use the following command: DoCmd.SendObject To quote Robert De Niro in the movie A Bronx Tale, "there's nothing worse than wasted talent.".
