Access web Calendar

Hi all,

Just wandering if it would be possible to create a calendar that could be used on a website? See, my webspace doesnt have an sql database and all the calendar programs on the internet require a database.

Could I put an access database in my webspace and use that to create my calendar? What im after is a basic calendar that people can view and see upcoming events at a glance. I also want to be able to have some people write to it and some view it. I have also looked for a purely php calendar to do what i want but I cant find such a thing.
