I have a Serenade 200 running with a Definity G3. When users dial 9399 they get the typical "To enter your mailbox press #..." This also use to work the same way when you dial in from the outside. However last week we upgraded to ISDN PRI lines and now the callers get the night message. Users can still enter # during the greeting to get their voice messages but they want to go back to the old way. Does anyone know how to do this?

I would start by running a trace (continuous) and dialling in and checking the digits received by the 200 from the pbx.

Of course it could be that the greeting in the 'night box' is ON over riding the COS and Schedule tables. If so, turn it OFF.

What kind of integration are you using (ATTIC with LIC cards, APIC cards, Enhanced In-Band)? Also, how is 9399 configured in the PBX?

I'd be interested to see traces of direct external and direct internal calls both before and after your PRI changeover.

9399 is programmed as a hunt group in the PBX. From the Octel, the list trace of an external call to 9399 after the change to the PRI shows:
type=intg_c
event=dir_ext
aux=28
mbx/extn=0

Unfortunately I cannot show what it look like before the PRI changeover.

Incidentally for internal calls to 9399 the list trace shows:
type=intg_c
event=dir_int
aux=20
mbx/extn=<calling extension>

I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas.

If I have read your trace correctly, it looks as though external calls are passing 0 to the Serenade. This will be the operators mailbox referenced in the port COS, and as I mentioned earlier, if the greeting is ON it will play, regardless of the TOD.

If the PRI change took place about a week ago, can you include some trace information from then?

will start the trace log running from 14 Jun at midnite.
