Access violation, metafile invalid running Quick rpts under XP

We are migrating from winnt to xp, running quick reports version 2. Some reports give 'Access violation at address..', followed by 'metafile is invalid' message. ForceNewColumns and ForceNewPage are both false. Some other reports give 'Cannot create a file' error. Can someone please help?
