Access versions/developer 1

I'm at Access 2000 now and am contemplating Access XP developer's edition so I can distribute to win98 and winXP users.

1. Any experience distributing to mixed win platforms (98/xp)?

2. Any major problems with Access XP?

3. Any major/useful enhancments when compared with 2000?

4. Reliable sources for purchasing Office XP?

5. Any opinions on XP vs 2000 vs 2003 would be approciated since the developer's edition is pretty big bucks.

Access 2003 won't work on Win98, so unless you want to force everybody to upgrade, Win2000 machines must have at least SP3 installed I would avoid this version.

I've got XP developer and have had no problems with it. It's almost impossible to find it at any brick and mortar stores but I got it new in box for $500 from a vendor listed on Pricewatch.com.
