Our databases have a Switchboard and the main Window with Tables, Queries, Forms etc is hidden. When I have to do work on the program I would click Window menu, Unhide and click the only thing showing in that list to open the Main screen.
Where is this in Acc 2007?

What happens if you open the DB with the shift key depressed ?

That works, But if you are in the database you have to close it and re-open it. not too big a deal I suppose.

Any idea why shortcuts on a desktop will not open Access any more. you have to open Access then open the database. of course in 2003 we just double clicked the shortcut to the database. We have half a dozen shortcuts to jump in and out of databases, Bing Bada Boom, that don't work anymore 'casue they have 2007.
I added the Security stuff in the Access options menu.
