Hi All

I have a small piece of vba code (which is part of a much larger system) that opens a word template for the user to work on. Recently on one of the machines the word object will not become visible i have set the object property .visible = true. I can see it in the task list but it will not become visible. The piece of code is working on the other computers. So I know there's nothing wrong with that.

Has anyone had this problem before?

I am going to try and reinstall office on the machine tomorrow and will let you all know if it works.

Cheers

Are all the machines running the same version of Windows?

If so, do all of them have Word's macro security set to allow the macros to run, or do you have a signature setup between the machines, so they'll allow it anyway?

When I say signature, I'm talking about digital signing - security.. I may be forgetting the correct terminology at the moment, though.

Hi kjv thanks for the reply.

One of the other machines is running the same version of windows and it's fine. Security settings are fine because the vba is running. There's no signature set up.
