Access VBA Code Management

Hi,

We are looking for a solution to help us with code management for a Access 2000 format VBA application. We need code check out/in functionality. I've heard that 2007 has this feature by using VSS, but I'm leery of being on the bleeding edge with such a critical app. Are there third part tools that do a good job with this functionality? Can anyone point me to a resource that might give me some more info about all of this?

I have used VSS with Access 2000 and had good success. This was about 7 years ago so I wouldn't consider it "bleeding edge".
