Access Tree too big - for each form query etc.

this may be a simple question, but is there a way to stop Access to open a new window for each query report or form I view? I don't want to create an MDE file for this one. I am using Access 2002

For clarification, I assume CTOROCK selected Tools->Options->View and unchecked Windows in Taskbar.
