I'm trying to get an Access Querry to a Word Document. I have my querry sorted by zip codes. When I go to transfer to the word document the data becomes scrambled. Is there a way to get the data to stay in its sorted state? If not I could go through and sort out each zip code, but I'm going through a couple thousand and its gonna take way more time than I have. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Savale,

If you just want a raw tabular version of your Access query to be created in Word. Open the query in Design View, make sure that the query is sorting by Zip Code.

Run the query, from the menu select TOOLS|OFFICE LINKS|PUBLISH IT WITH MS WORD.

Word should open an .rtf formatted document with the results of your query .

Regards

Bill
