Access to pub and pri folders thru admin

I am unable to access my pub and pri folders thru exchange admin. Everything works fine from the client side. 5.5 SP4
NT 4.0 sp6. Also I am unable to start Exchange event service (returns a 2140 NT error). Error code trying to access pub/pri folders is 8004011d-0512. I have tried all the MS Kbase articles without success. User names and passwords are correct.

Have you checked the account for that service?

Make sure it has all of the necessary permissions and advanced user rights.
