Hi,

I have spent hours solving an ORACLE call to a stored procedure without avail. I tried to memic a code found on this website to connect to ORACLE and get back a value from a table through the otu parameter. My code is very similar to the code for allperson procedure call.

But when I do so, I get the following error

[ORACLE][ODBC][Ora]ORA-06550: line 1, column 47
PLS-00201: identifier 'NewID' must be declared.

This happens when executing the statement
Rs.Open, which is on that above web site. This web site explains how to create stored procedures in ORACLE and then use Access to read out some table fields back to a user using Access as a front end. Is there a way to explain this error and why I am getting it. The author of that web site did not define the output parameter when calling ORACLE from Acess. The call is just

QSQL = "{call packperson.allperson({resultset 9, ssn, fname, " _
& "lname})}"

**without defining ssn, fname or lname parameters above. But yet they should be available to Access after Rs.open according to the example on the web-site!!!
