Hey Guys,

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before, but what kind of problems might I be looking at if migrating an Access db over to mySQL?

In addition to that, how will my queries be affected by the move? I know the syntax differs slighty with mySQL, but I'm not sure how much.

Any help would be appreciated ..

thanks,

ed

Forget about Access queries ane rewrite them in MySQL once you have succesfully imported all records.

Any query written in access can only be lenghty but definitely not complex, due to the limitations of MS Access SQL. Beside I have come across funny behaviors with the JOIN syntax in Access so you don't really want to carry that stuff in MySQL.
