I am exporting an access 2000 database to mysql through odbc.

Everything exports ok.

If I then link the mysql database from access 2000 through odbc, the data type is memo, it was originally text.

The original datatype in the access 2000 database is text.

Why is mysql changing the data type to memo?

How can I link it back in to access 2000 and have the datatype as text and not memo?

Thank You In Advance,
Brian Weber

Does the same for me, although its set as text. I just left it there shouldnt be a problem with that.
