I am having problems in automating the task of putting an access table / query into excel. Does anyone have any good tips for this?

So what kind of problems. Using DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet is a relatively easy command. You must make sure the SpreadsheetType is supported by your version of Excel.

DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet TransferType:=acExport, _ SpreadsheetType:=acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9, _
TableName:=mstrQuery, _
Filename:=strWriteFileSpec

I when I try to use any type of Docmd command it says that there was problems with the OLE and the data could not be transfered. Also, when I try to register the OLE references in VB it tells me that there is an error in linking to the .dll file. I have tried to reload access and that did not work. What could be causing this problem with the OLE?
