Access to email and apps via Citrix

We have several users who travel quite a bit. They require access to their Exchange 2000 email and to be able to access published applications.

We are running Citrix Metaframe 1.8 (Build 260 Service Pack 1) on a Windows 2000 server (SP4).

At this time a Citrix upgrade is out of the question.

The server resides behind a Cisco ASA 5510.

We need for the users to be able to access at least their email from any PC (not necessarily their laptop).

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would certainly be appreciated.

I am to familiar with 1.8 but you should be able to publish Outlook.

Maybe the wrong forum for this answer, but is Outlook Web Access an option? If they can access the Internet, they can access their e-mail.
