Access Table Synchronisation

Hi

I have a database with many tables in it, however I have one main table containing details of telephone lines, numbers and users etc. The key to this is the telephonenumber.

I also have a copy of this database on my laptop for use when I am away from the office.

Is there any way of synchronising the two tables without creating a master & replica copy of the database.

Hoping someone has the answer.

Would you only be adding records on your laptop, or adding and deleting?

To append records from your laptop to your desktop, you could use the Find Unmatched Query Wizard to find which records are new on the laptop, then change it from a 'Select Query' to an 'Append Query' pointing to the table on the Desktop.
