I had heard that the users would be able to access MB 102 via dial-up to change greetings, business status, etc. I see in the Callpilot Admin guide that it indicates this can be done but refers me to the CallPilot Reference Guide. In that guide I find no mention of accessing the Sys Mgr MB remotely. Has anyone been able to do this? If so, please outline the steps for me.

Dont think that is possible by dialing in and pressing **, etc.

However you could easily VPN to the network and program through the PC.

Thanks, I currently use either DUN or VPN to connect and administer the system, however one of the admin people would like to be able to change greetings on the AA from the cell phone and read in the CallPilot Admin guide that it can be done.

You call in when you hear the AA greating dial ** then the Admin mailbox and the password(102####) then dial 99 ,you will hear the options for changing the greetings and changing the business status.

Thanks Ironhorse17 - works like a charm. One caveat is the SM mailbox has to be initialized to access it from the outside so if anyone thinks there might be a need to do this then you will have to have already changed the SM box password and recorded the name as you can't do that remotely.

if you want to change the greetings, and have access to callpilot via the GUI, you can always dial an external number to listen/record the greetings (it does not have to be an internal number).
