I have an access database which enclose several tables (approx. 19). I want to have a master database at a hosting company and have 4 of the same on 4 local computers.

Here is an example of how we see the application working.

Employee A has a laptop with the master database on it and is going out to a location to record some data using the Access application. Employee A fills out part of the Application and he returns home to an internet connection (assuming dial-up) and connects. His database is now not the same as the master at hosting company. Upon connecting to the internet the database start syncing to have an outcome to two identical database with all update records from Employee A. Meanwhile there are 3 other employees all doing the same thing (out collecting data, returning and syncing up with the main database) and not overwriting nobody else’s files.

Hope someone can help

Have a look at replication - and pray that the users get broadband :)
