Hello,

I have an Access 2000 main switchboard that contains 5 items. The last item (item 5) is Exit Database. There is also a subswitchboard that contains 7 items. When I select the fifth item off the subswitchboard, the database closes, as it does by selecting the fifth item off the main switchboard. I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try and recreate the button on the subswitchboard? Did you check the coding of the buttons?? Goto design view, click on the button, bring up its' property sheeet, click the Event tab, click in the box next to OnClick, click the little button with the three dots and you should get to the VBA window. Check the code on both buttons. It sounds like you either copied the wrong button or created it wrong.
