Access startup options, how do you reverse them?

I have built a small database that is to be distributed to a dozen people or so, about half way done with the task I was experimenting with the start up options and I effectively locked my self out of the master design mode. How do I get back?

Opening the database SHIFT pressed down bypasses (at least some) startup options.<br>
