Hi all! I have a question. I have a MS database that has modules written to extract specific user information i.e. travelling sales representatives. THe database runs fine but really slow. I have 3 questions. 1. I assume splitting it would keep information safe but would also let the database run faster...right? If so I would like to split the database and put front end on travelling labtops and back end on company server. 2. I think I would also like to replicate the database so that the travelling sales reps can work "offline" so to speak, which I guess is most important because a lot of time is spent in airports and airplanes, not to mention slow hotel internet connections. 3. Is it possible to do both together...especially because there are so many modules written to weed info.

Yes. There is a split tool available as part of Microsoft Access tools. Yes, you can setup replication for the databases.
