Database is on a server in Matlock (Approx 15MB and growing).

Accessing it from Scotland is disastarously slow.

Both sites have a frame relay.

Is there anything that can be done in the database to improve speed?

Tried creating a data Access Page but we lose the drop-down options in the fields?!!

Have you thought of setting up a Terminal server with Citrix Metaframe? The client would access the server and the only thing going over the frame line would be screen shots/mouse clicks and keyboard inputs.

This way they would not be accessing the database from their computer but instead would connect to the terminal server and accessing it there.

That is one thing you could think about that might help with the speed question.

Hope this helps.
