Hopefully quick question for all those access gurus out there. I have an Access 2007 database linked to a SharePoint 2.0 (WSS)list. I'm doing some basic queries based on the list data. One of the fields I'm querying is formatted as a user name field, which comes into Access as a number, That number has a relationship with a different table created by SharePoint called User information and is the ID field of the user in question. My primary table displays the user name based on that number, so does my query. But when I build a report on the query it displays the number instead of the name. What am I doing wrong? How do I get the report to display its data the same way the query does?

So I cheated. I ran a DLookup to pull the data in the query and built the report on that expression instead. Bit of a pain, but it works.
