When a user launches an Access database for the first time a security warning pops up...I have to go to Tools>Macros and set the security warning level to low. Can I use VB code to turn off that warning?
thx

not sure about vb code but if the message is what i think then i get rid of this when i build a new machine for my users straight away.

run any .mdb as an administrator. then when prompted with the security warning say YES. this will then never show again as any user on this machine.

btw...i would choose medium security rather than low. just means the user has to click open instead of the db opening straightaway.

*the above i do using office 2003 pro.

It's not what you know. It's who's on Tek-Tip's
