i am trying to develope a user infterface search executable that will allow user to locate existing contact in available tabels/ contact lists, and to allow user to input a contact and send it to a particular existing list. do i have to write a program for that or does access have such a feature already existing?
plz help
thank you

Access does have a New Databases Wizard, which amongst other things, has the option to generate a Contact Management database. If you choose File, New from the menu options, then select the Databases tab from the dialogue box, you should see the Contact Management database option.

Once the application has been generated, you can of course customise it by altering the forms, reports etc.

Hope this helps,
