For some odd reason, my access screen is totally grey, other than the tool bar at the top. It looks like all of my tables, queries, etc. . . are gone. But, my file size is 20 MB so I know this is not the case. I have tried about every command I can (on the file bar) and cannot seemt to make it work. Any ideas? I want to avoid getting my network admin. to retrieve a backup copy.

Access screen is totally blank - please advise

See if the dbwindow is hidden or off to the far right/bottom of the virtual desktop--hidden from the 'real' application desktop.
Hit Alt - (Alt and the Minus/dash)
Then hit "M"
Then up arrow
Then click the mouse.
This should put the window where you can see it.
