Hi
I have tried every setting possible to restrict my sons internet time using access restrictions.

I have WAG connected to BT broadband which also controls the network. I am also using a WRT54G as a repeater upstairs using WDS. My sons PC picks up the network via the WRT. do i need to set the same restrictions on the WRT?

Have created one profile allowing access between 4pm and 5pm using MAC addressing. which didn't do anything. Created another one denying access between 5pm and 4pm did'nt work. Created another one allowing access 24hrs aday to everybody else still does'nt work

Any ideas?

If your son is picking up the WRT instead of the WAG, you should set all the restrictions to the WRT and block his MAC address on the WAG or have both WRT and WAG restricted.

It appears to be working now through the WAG only even though he picks up the network through the WRT. It just seems odd that after two days of setting the restrictions it suddenly starts working.
