I am currently working on a columnar report. However
the page is printing only 4 records in total of page.
How can I get the information to continue onto next column
of the page. It looks like I may be able to get 3 records on each column. Each record is different in length.

Any help would be appreciated.

In desgin view of the report, click on Page Setup then the Columns tab. Set the number of columns and their behavior there.

I am a novice at this but, be sure you make your report width as narrow as possible. For 2 columns <4.25 and for 3 columns <2.5. You should also increase the margins to .5 for both left and right.

I have used page setup, and did the columns to 2 and
adjusted the width and length. However it still leaves
lots of blank space at bottom of page. Doing a
resource guide so space is very valuable.

Please help

If you add up the height properties of all of the sections of your report and the margins, does that exceed the paper size?? If so, you will have to reduce them to fit......

No the problem is that it is leaving space at bottom
and starting the 3rd record in new column instead of
it being at bottom and start of new column,

Is this more clear?

Check the GrpKeepTogether property for the report. You can use this property to specify whether all the data for a group will appear in the same column.(Per Column).

The GrpKeepTogether property setting has no effect if the KeepTogether property for a group is set to No.

I love you Cosmo. Thanks for making my Friday
alot better.
