Creating a Hotel MAnagement application, I have all the tables/queries and reports set up, ....except... on my final invoice report I need to show a list of all purchases to an account holder (i.e - ID1), I can get single items up but I need to be able to display a list for that ID....e.g
ID1 purchased - paper, drinks etc (these details are in one table)

I suspect for you a subreport is your best bet...basically the same as a subform...Make sure to set cangrow & canshrink properties to true (or as required). Gord

I have something very similar. Page 1 of the invoice shows the total and following pages show the detail.
The report is based just on the detail. This is within a group. You need to make sure that the group encompases all the records you want to diaplay, otherwise it really doesn't matter what it is. In report properties, set Page Header to 'Not with Rpt Hdr'. In your groupheader, set Forcenewpage to 'Before Section'. In the report header I have a text box set to =Sum([price]).

This works well if you print a single invoice at a time. Preview does not work for multiple invoices, these can be printed by looping and printing within the loop.
