I am currently working on a Access 97 Database, in a few of the reports one of the expressions is not presenting the date information in the correct format...eg.

="In reference to your XXX application for a " & [IntentDesc] & " for the purpose of " & [PurposeDesc] & " in the vicinity of " & [Location] & " , XXX has received your submission and fee, and concluded that the information provided is sufficient for XXX to proceed with the review process. The process to determine if authorization will be granted will normally be completed within 140 calendar days from " & Now() & " . "
Produces this response in the report:

In reference to your SoandSO application for a SoandSO permit for the purpose of SoandSO in the vicinity of HERE, OURCOMPANY has received your submission and fee, and concluded that the information provided is sufficient for OURCOMPANY to proceed with the review process. The process to determine if authorization will be granted will normally be completed within 140 calendar days from 10/09/2002 11:02:59 AM.

I need the report to produce the date in the Long Format,
"September 10, 2002" So I tried a control switch...

="In reference to your XXX application for a " & [IntentDesc] & " for the purpose of " & [PurposeDesc] & " in the vicinity of " & [Location] & " , XXX has received your submission and fee, and concluded that the information provided is sufficient for XXX to proceed with the review process. The process to determine if authorization will be granted will normally be completed within 140 calendar days from " & Format(Now(),"Long Date") & " . "

This produces an expression to complex error when you run the report. I tried the standard "Date()" format, with no joy also. I am used to using Access 2000 and these formats work in it, is there a different switch I can try...

Thank You in advance.
