I have a sql query that I need to run in microsoft access and create a report based on this query. Is any way I can run the query in microsoft access without using pass-through query, for some reason when I try to create the report it keeps prompting to select the data source, even I selected the data source and keeps prompting and prompting...Any thougts please

If you go the Query for your report in Design View, click on Properties, change the ODBC connection string and when prompted to save, click yes, that should solved your problem.
