Access Report - Assignning a value to text field on a report

Hello,

How do I assign a value to a text field on a report? Can this be done. I have run into problem trying to do so.

The RecordSource of the report have columns that contain numeric values that actually represent textual values of another table. I would like to the textual values to display on report instead of it's numeric value by assigning the textual value to the text fields. Is this possible?

Yes...

Generally you would make a query that retrieves the data from the tables (joining on the key fields) and then display the correct data on the report.
