When typing in a URL (e.g. for google) in the address bar (IE5.0) as normal user, I obtained a message that the access to resource is refused.
When typing in the same address WITHOUT ' the browser opens this site normally.
However, with the time more and more addresses are refused.
Also, when opening the drop-down list for recently used addresses, the icon in front of the refused addresses is shown as an opened hand (like for a share), instead of the 'e'-symbol.
This phenomenon was occurring on a Win2KProf workstation in an NT4 domain.
There was no problem (yet?) while doing this as administrator. The user had a roaming profile.
After upgrading to IE5.5 SP2, the problem was solved.
