I have some theoretical understanding of Access. I've actually done some training on Access quite a few years ago. I am not completely bereft of understanding even get normalisation to an extent. I want to make a database for work - community services, small place. Can anyone recommend a good website for Access learing? I've been looking around but not found what I want yet.

Any suggestions welcome

To me that is like asking if there is a good website to learn calculus. I am sure there is, I just doubt that would be the easiest way to do it. If it was me I would pick up a couple books. That is the way I learned, and then you have the reference. Most have sample CDs with tons of code examples. If you want to save money you do not need an Access 2007 book to learn the basics. You can pick up an old Access 2003 book for nearly nothing (make sure it has the CD). Although there are tons of good books, I would look at Access 200X Step by Step. Google it and you should be able to pick up a new copy for under 10 bucks and a used copy for basically nothing.

On Duane's link, The Inside Out books are excellent. Better than the Step by Step I recommended. Once you have mastered these introduction books, the best book for intermediate/advanced users is also shown: the Desktop Developers Handbook by Litwin and Getz. That is the Bible for many of us MVPs.

Why, thank you everyone for your help, it's very generous - I think I should be able to find something to suit. If you're lucky, I might not have to post many questions!
