I have a Microsoft Word 2000 Template from which I want to be able to click on a button on a form which runs 2 Microsoft Access Queries (1 delete query and 1 Append query) both in the same database. But I am unsure on what code to use to do this.

Will I have to rewrite the queries in SQL in the Word VBA code or is there a way I can just run the queries already in the access database

Can anyone help by giving me an example of how to run these queries.

Thanks very much

Leigh

yes let me think...

DoCmd.OpenQuery "qry_name", acViewNormal

I want the code in my Word Template not the access database, so I somehow need to specify the location of the access database as well.
