I have two tables, one containing 69 employee names, and one containing all our 2005 sick leave hours, dates, and names. I have developed a query which sums up the sick leave hours taken by 61 people for 2005. What I'm missing are the names of 8 folks which had NO sick leave in 2005. I'd like to have a query outcome which will show me 69 employee names and the number of hours of sick leave taken in 2005, even if that was "0".

You need to change the join type.

If you are creating the query in Design view, then right-click on the join line and choose join properties.

Tell it to show all records from the employees table and matching records from the other table.
